PC booting from wrong hard drive partition

Hey guys I have two separate partitions in my hard drive. Yesterday my PC stopped working and now it every time I power it up it only let's me choose from 2 options. Launch start up repair or start windows normally. Either way I end up at the start up repair. Things don't get resolved this way. One thing I've noticed is that it's the detecting the OS at drive D:, but I'm fairly certain that I installed windows on drive C:. I checked the boot menu and it says it is booting from partition 2. I'm guessing my PC is trying to boot from the wrong partition that's why this is happening. What should I do to get it to boot from the right partition?
