So, this is a new build, it boots, I see the Asus logo (it's an Asus motherboard), but when entering Windows, it just shows a bluescreen.

It happend during the driver installation, I got a bluescreen, and since than it shows every time I get into Windows.

I'm planning to just reinstall Windows, but I was wondering if any of you know what happend.

Thanks

Sounds good. FYI. I've tested HDDs from "New" enclosures that I bought at a popular retailer that shall remain nameless.
Upon accessing S.M.A.R.T I discovered that the drive had already been running for a couple of hundred hours prior to being sold as new to the customer. In addition, I ordered the Seagate ST8000VN0002 last week and it also arrived broken. Had to return...

Are you running setup from a usb or dvd?
Are you running RAM at XMP/default manufacturer frequencies?
Are you running CPU at default frequency?
Are you installing the OS onto an SSD or HDD?

Generally, it is a bad idea to install a new OS, when your system is overclocked. I would suggest resetting your BIOS to optimized default settings before your next attempt. Also, in the windows setup program, it can help to first delete all the previous partitions and start afresh. You haven't provided much detail, so I'm making some very wild assumptions here...

OK, so it helps to completely clear the HDD of any partitions within the windows setup tool.
Also make sure that you have a freshly created windows usb thumb drive.
Suggest using the windows installation media creation tool in conjunction with rufus.
In other words, download the installation into the form of an iso image, then use rufus to create bootable usb from iso.

Do you have proof that the HDD is in good health? I.E. No bad sectors or un allocated sectors?
You can evaluate the health of the HDD on S.M.A.R.T with Crystal Disk Info: http://crystalmark.info/software/CrystalDiskInfo/index-e.html
