Hello all,

Maybe 2 or 3 times a week, my pc will boot into bios on its own. If I exit bios windows 11 then boots up normally but I have no idea why this is happening. I thought this could be a RAM issue but I just upgraded and it's still happening

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS i nformation.

Look in Reliability History/Monitor and Event Viewer.

Either one or both tools may be capturing some error code, warning, or informational event showing some failure to load Windows when the pc appears to boot into bios on its' own.

How do you normally shut down the pc?

AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D, B550 TOMAHAWK, 32.0GB Dual-Channel DDR4, Evga Supernova 750W, 4080 RTX.
In event viewer I found the previous shutdown was unexpected, failed fast startup and The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first errors but I always turn off my PC normally through the start menu.

If it's failed Fast Startup, try disabling this function. I disable it in all my systems.

Are you running a high XMP overclock which might be crashing the computer? Run a full MemTest86 test (boot from USB) to check memory stability. This could take several hours. If there are any errors, reduce the XMP overclock speed.

Thanks, I'll see if it still happens with fast startup off.

I'm running XMP but I did that with my old ram on and off as well.
