I'm building a pc for my friend. I had everything done and ready and when I plugged it in and hooked it all up, the monitor said "Weak or No Connection". It also turns off every 10ish seconds and turns itself back on. I've looked everywhere for an answer for this but all I could find was one post with the answer being "check the motherboard manual". Well, I'm using the ASrock AB350 Pro4 with a Ryzen 3 2200G. The manual is pretty much useless and 95% of its content is just the same 6 pages in different languages. At first, I thought I needed to get a different cpu and update the bios, but the MOBO box says "2000 Series Ready" in bolded text. Also, it's listed as a supported CPU on their website. Is the processor actually the issue? I'm using dual channel 2400mhz RAM in the second and fourth slot. Based on this diagram off their website I think that's the right way.
The reviews on the motherboard are drastically different. Some say that their 2200Gs worked straight out of the box with no problems. Some say otherwise. I don't want to have to contact AMD and have them send a chip to me for that not to be the issue. Does anyone know for certain? I've tried multiple displays and different inputs, and the fans that are plugged into the MOBO work just fine... I feel so bad now because he has a fully built pc that doesn't boot.
