PC boots takes up to 45 minutes to post

I recently got a new hard drive for my pc build that I completed a while back. The previous hard drive gave me no issues...then this new one. On every cold boot my monitor shows nothing for up to 45 minutes until it finally decides to post. So when I can see my screen and restart it gives me no issues. Ive searched for lots of fixes but cannot seem to find one. Help would be much appriciated.

What motherboard do you have? BIOS up-to-date with the latest manufacturer release?

What motherboard do you have? BIOS up-to-date with the latest manufacturer release?

My mother board is the ASUS Z170 Pro Gaming Aura and I have updated the BIOS to the second to latest update (Version 3401)
