PC boots up, no signal on monitor

Just like the title says. I'm fairly certain it's booting up given that it lights up the motherboard LED as well as the mouse and keyboard along with the fans of the cpu and videocard

Specs

Ryzen 3 1200 no OC
Gigabyte G1 1050ti
8 ram DDR4 2400MHZ
Asus A320m-K Mobo
Logitech g403 mouse
Generic Logitech keyboard
Acer p244w monitor (plugged in with DVI)

Is the monitor plugged into the motherboard video out or the graphics card?

It's plugged in to the videocard.

What PSU did you have?

I have a EVGA 400W PSU. Not sure where I can see the model but its nothing fancy, got it for like 30 bucks

Did the PC work fine before? If yes, remove the RAM, clear the CMOS. After that boot the PC to see what happens.

Just fixed it. I was using a HDMI to DVI cable cause I used to have a laptop with no adapter and it seems to have given up, changed the cord for a dvi to dvi and its all good now
