Question PC boots up without hdd, but not with hdd intact

my PC has booted from the hdd before, but now when it boots up, it shows nothing on the screen. it only shows the screen when the hdd is unplugged. do you have any solutions to this? thanks!

Your HDD might be broken or the operating software has an error. Try booting with a install disk or flash drive to boot and repair the software installation.

The PC is so old, It can't boot from flash drive. but the hdd worked just a bit ago, but now I don't know what happened. maybe a corruption?

How old is it exactly?

That PC isn't worth fixing. Just get a new one.

at least the BIOS is that old. im not sure how every part is because I built it myself. I really want to fix this thing. Do you need pictures?
The pc boots up with both the hdd and without, but no signal to monitor

You've not found the issue, if one exists.

Still not working. tried another MOBO with old celeron, put power button is not compatible. I think its the hdd. it's done for.
