Hi.

Pc specs:

R5 2600 (CPU)
MSI GAMING 750 TI 2GB OC (GPU)
GIGABYTE B450 AORUS PRO (MOBO)
TRIDENT Z RGB 16GB (2X8) (RAM)
WD 256 GB (SSD)
TOSHIBA 1TB (HDD)
CORSAIR CX550M (PSU)
CORSAIR CARBIDE
SPEC06 RGB (CASE)

Problems I am facing:

A) red cpu_led light on motherboard & no display on monitor.
B) pc boots when turning on the psu.

When I plug my f_panel connectors into my mobo, the computer starts booting right after I switch on the psu for some reason.

There is a red led on the motherboard (cpu_led) and I don't get a display on my monitor. After I unplug the f_panel connectors and use a screwdriver to turn it on, everything works fine.

I tried every f_panel connector expect the POWER SW, they all cause me problem A).

And when i plug in the POWER SW connector also, I'm facing problem A) and B).

Hopefully this makes sense to you so you cam help me figure this out.

Thanks.

Solution
Likely there is a problem with the power button causing it to bridge the pins all of the time. Has this system booted before or is it new. If it is new reseat the cpu and ram, if it has been ran before reset the cmos.
