Hello I am about to buy a new PC.
I am wondering about Intel Xeon E3-1231 v3 / Intel I5 i4690K
What motherboard will be best ? Maybe I want to overclock in future -> Do i need better fan/ cooling?
What Mhz / size should I buy? 2x 4GB / 2X 8GB? 1600 or more?
Should I add the SSD ? (if not over 1000$ or I can buy it later)

Thanks for every reply!

There is my current build I made

If you want a gtx 970 for shadowplay could you go with this,

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

CPU: Intel Xeon E3-1231 V3 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor ($242.99 @ SuperBiiz)
CPU Cooler: CRYORIG M9i 48.4 CFM CPU Cooler ($25.99 @ Newegg)
Motherboard: ASRock Z97 Extreme3 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($82.98 @ Newegg)
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1866 Memory ($72.99 @ NCIX US)
Storage: Zotac Premium Edition 240GB 2.5" Solid State...
What is the purpose if your going to game drop the Xeon. Xeons dont like being overclocked and the i5 would do better in that field, if you are editing video or content creation the xeon will be better. also in gaming the MHz of ram doesnt matter. always try for an SSD it makes life alot better.

a bit over your budget ...but a solid build

could you make some changes to get under 1000?
I think about gtx 970 because of shadowplay and better optimalisation, i have no experience with asrock either.
I7 is too much.

``Gaming, video capture, editing and render ``

if you want to do this..?? you really need my built above
if you want a lower budget rig see here

this build meet your budget , but is a lot less powerfull

``i have no experience with asrock either.``
SO WHAT??

``Oi, tone it down a little. No need for shouting or repeated punctuation.``
i do not want to be aggressive , the thing is the op ask us to give our idea on a build and after he dictate us ...
