I am building a system to
1)run the monitor selected below at its max(or close to) 100fps with ultra settings
2)run oculus rift vr while playing movies, running Android emulators, google chrome browsers etc. at the same time

This is what I have come up with

Monitor: Asus Rog Swift PG348Q
Case: be quiet! Dark Base Pro 900 Silver rev. 2
CPU: AMD RYZEN 7 2700X
Mobo: ASUS ROG Crosshair VII Hero
GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti SC2
RAM: G.SKILL TridentZ RGB 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4 3200 F4-3200C14D-16GTZR
CPU Cooler: Be quiet Dark Rock Pro 4
PSU: BE QUIET! DARK POWER PRO 11 750W
Nvme: Samsung 970 EVO 500 GB
HDD: Seagate Barracuda ST6000DM004

Any major flaws or poor value choices?
Thanks for your time

Overall a very good build that will blitz your use cases. As to the motherboard, it is a quality motherboard, yes a bit more expensive then the mid tier but still more than good.

The Power Supply as well is more than good enough, reviewed very well but as bmockeg has suggested, you cannot go wrong with Seasonic Focus Gold at 750w or even 850w as they tend to be around $10 to $15 apart (In fact the Focus Gold 850w is on Amazon at $114.49 which is just $10 more than the 750w version). Without a doubt one of the best power supplies out there for the money.
