Oh wow 2080ti, are the AMD cpus as good as the Intel then?

Oh wow 2080ti, are the AMD cpus as good as the Intel then?
Depending on resolution and which CPU you compare from either side the answer is yes and no. Usually comparing unlocked AMD vs unlocked Intel CPU at 1080p there is noticeable difference. But for 1440p and up there is minimal difference.

In the above case Ryzen R7 2700 will perform nearly as good as i7-8700 or even better when Over Clocked.
