Question PC Build Advice

I'm back again after some 8 years looking for advise on a new build as my old computer is struggling with some of the games I play and the CPU (i5-4590) can't even upgrade to Windows 11.

A friend has kindly put together a build within my budget (looking to spend between £1000-1100) - https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/8vvJwc.

It would be good to get a second opinion and any improvements within my budget. I would prefer Intel/ Nvidia and not looking for an alternative.

My current set up is.

CPU: i5-4590
RAM: 16GB
GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 970

I'd look at these changes to your build.

The cpu cooler in your build is overkill for that i5. Save a few quid and look at one of these coolers for example.

Get a board with better VRM's.
