Hey there,

I'm currently looking to build a new gaming/work computer and wanted some feedback/confirmation on the compatability of the parts and some concerns that I've had. The build consists of the following parts, however, I'm open to suggestions if there's an alternate Case/GPU/CPU that you'd recommend instead.

CPU - Ryzen 5 7600X
GPU - Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4070 WINDFORCE OC 12GB
RAM - Ram Corsair Vengeance DDR5 32GB 2x16GB 5600MHz
MOTHERBOARD - MSI MAG B650 TOMAHAWK WIFI
CASE- Geh Antec PerformanceOne P20CE
PSU (currently own this one) - Seasonic CORE-GM-650

Questions:
1. Would my current PSU would be capable enough for this build or would I need to get a new one? If so, which one would you recommend for the build.
2. Would the build be compatible with each other and would I be able to use it straight out of the box without any other preparations?
3. Which CPU cooler would you recommend for the processor? I'm not looking for something high end, just for something that'd do the job.

Thank you for taking the time to reply and I'll be waiting for the replies!

1. Your psu is of excellent quality and should suffice.

2. Ryzen is sensitive to ram.
Is the part number of your selection on the motherboard ram qvl support list, or is it on a support list from corsair for your motherboard and cpu?

3. Noctua maintains a list of suitable coolers.
Here is the list for the 7600X:

NH-D12s would be a good choice for quality, quiet, and ease of mounting. There are cheaper alternatives.

Everything looks excellent on that build I would pay a little extra and get a X3D processor. With the 4070 at minimum, I would use a 750w PSU. CPU cooler buy what fits the aesthetics of what you are trying to do with your build. I have moved to CPU water blocks and will never go back. My processor at load stays around 55c

I have been using https://vetroo.com/ coolers on a few builds and the performance is fantastic and had not had one fail yet. Hope this helps.

Regarding the ram, it does seem to be on the supported ram list for the motherboard, however, I don't have a lot of knowledge on these topics and might not understand your question fully, but the ones that I selected did show up on the list. I can attach the link for the parts if needed, but thank you for the assistance and reassurance!

What the others said - it looks like an excellent build!

Just wanted to chime in with a couple more options for coolers...
- I've always been partial to Arctic. Their "Freezer 34 eSports" models are pretty good. They are around $45-50.
- I keep hearing good stuff about the Deepcool AK400, which is usually found around $30-35.

If you dont care for ray tracing that much, i would choose the 7800XT over the 4070.

Great mobo choice!

Deepcool AK620 is great air cooler, you also have the AK620 digital if you want something fancy.

look for 6000/cl30 or 6400/cl32 ram kit.

yeah 7800xt over the 4070 ..

id go a 7700 non x or the 7600 non x just easier to cool for little downsides..

check the B650 mobos some come with pcie gen 4x16 not the gen 5 .. just for future proofing

cl 30 6000 is the sweet spot for AMD and not to bad price wise now ..

the AK500 digital ( not as big as the AK620 ) will 100% keep the 7700 and 7600 non x super cool as it kept my 7800x3d at around 84c cinebench R23 allcore !!

for reference the arctic freezer ii 280mm kept the 7700 6800xt build i just did at 58c all core r23 so super super cool !!

my 7600x stock with a 420mm was 75c all core r23 the x series like to get warm !!

^ would never hurt to go big on air cooling. quieter operation and more ready for upgrades with more power hungry CPUs.

the digital temp readout would look good on the big top face of the AK620 digital XD.
100% if case and mobo will take the AK620 ..

i wanted the deepcool assassin iv for the 7800x3d but the crosshair x670e gene board wasnt compatible !!
