The below are the components I am considering for a new PC. I render and edit 4K video, and compile digital music which requires the reading of large files of music samples. I also have an Oculus Quest 2 to connect to.

Is one of these components a bottleneck, maybe needing upgrading? Is 1 overkill and downgrading it would have no real effect?

Thanks.

GPU - EVGA GeForce GTX 1060 SC 6GB GDDR5 (already have)
CPU - i7 11700K (3.6-5.0)
RAM - 2 x 16GB DDR4 (3200)
MOBO - MSI Z590-A PRO LGA 1200
HD- Samsung 980 PRO PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD

Solution
I would go with an R7 5800x instead. A bit faster, doesn't need as expensive of a motherboard, or cooling, and consumes far less power. The 11700k is not a very good CPU.

If you absolutely want Intel, get a 10850k instead. Only $20 more and a much better all around chip.

Thanks.

I looked at the R7 5800x, but at least according to UserBenchmark, the Intel is a bit better (~10%).
Even more so vs. the 10850k, tho I know there is more to performance than what UserBenchmark shows.

Will check out more thoroughly your suggestions.

Thanks.
