Hi, so i recently build myself a new/old pc. And this is my problem. I tried using my SDD from my main pc. It shows up in the bios and i selected it as the boot drive.
BUT when i save changes and exit i receive a message saying "No Hard Disk Found"
and then it goes into a loop saying i need to connect a hard disk and try again.

I know the problem is probably the pc or that the windows thats on the ssd is to new. But does anybody know a fix ? or the exact problem?

SPECS:

Mobo:MSI p35 NEO-FI
Ram:
2x 2gb Samsung 6400U 666
1x 1gb Samsung 6400U 666
1x 1gb Geil PC2 6400 DDR2-800

GPU: Asus NVIDIA GeForce GTX-460 1GB
CPU: Intel Core2 quad Q8200 2,3 GHz
Cooler: Arctic Freezer 7 Pro
PSU: Seasonic M12II SS-520GM 520W 80 Plus Bronze
SSD: Crucial BX200 240gb

(i can obviously try installing windows on a new drive but i dont want since ill have to buy windows again, so only if nothing works i'll do that)

Yes installed from a diffrent pc.
So does that mean it isnt possible?

I dont really have options anywhere to do this... The BIOS is very basic
*prepares windows media tool* Kinda giving up xp

lol i guess this pc doesnt like me at all.
Had 1000s of problems of which i fixed almost all and now my pc doesnt want to install lots of stuff or corrupts most programs. And i bluescreen atleast once a hour with diffrent error codes every blue screen...

(blue screens include: PFN_List_Corrupted, Fualty_Hardware_Corrupted and Memory_Managment. I didnt check the others)

My HDD S.M.A.R.T is fine.
My Ram is checked and seemed fine.
And its a fresh install of windows.

i have no idea what im doing wrong

EDIT: 2min after i restarted from a bluescreen and after making this i got another lol Critical_Process_Died

I hope thats the case because im already looking for a new mobo that supports SLI and has a better chipset for overclocking
I'll update when i get a new mobo 😛
