I am wanting to build a PC but don't necessarily know what parts I need and what fits together.

Can anyone suggest a $600 dollar PC that I can build. I am looking to play BF3 and BF4 on medium to high graphics. I will also be playing games such as TF2, Minecraft, World of Warcraft, and League of Legends.

I would like to have an i5 or an i7 but not an i3. No AMD Processors please. I would also like 6GB of RAM or more.

I am open to any and all recommendations.

Thanks in advance!

An i7 is worthless for gaming as it offers nothing over an i5. That aid, you want an fx-6300 at this budget to maximize the GPU budget.

Thanks for the reply. How long do you think this build will last in terms of gaming? Will the FX-6300 run the games listed in my first post?

Probably won't do a whole lot better than this for Intel at this price, the FX-6300 will give you much better GPU options at this price-point, it's a shame you won't go AMD:

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks

CPU: Intel Core i5-3470 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor ($179.99 @ Newegg)
Motherboard: ASRock H77 Pro4/MVP ATX LGA1155 Motherboard ($82.55 @ Newegg)
Memory: Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($62.13 @ TigerDirect)
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($59.99 @ NCIX US)
Video Card: MSI Radeon HD 7850 2GB Video Card ($159.99 @ Newegg)
Case: NZXT Source 210 (White) ATX Mid Tower Case ($24.99 @ Newegg)
Power Supply: XFX 550W 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX12V / EPS12V Power Supply ($44.99 @ NCIX US)
Total: $614.63

Of course a cooler is always a good option, the stock heatsinks are rubbish. At least go this: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/cooler-master-cpu-cooler-rr910htx3g1

@Tiny Voices, I agree.

I get it now. I am not very tech-savvy.

Even though AMD would be a much better route for this build:

Motherboard: MSI H87M-G43 Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($77.99 @ Newegg)
Memory: Patriot Viper 3 4GB (1 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($23.99 @ Newegg)
Memory: Patriot Viper 3 4GB (1 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($23.99 @ Newegg)
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($69.99 @ Newegg)

Better AMD gaming rig:

This one looks good as well! It's such a tough decision.

I'd still go AMD. This is almost the same as Tiny Voices with a couple of tweaks:

Just make sure you go to the Asus website and check the Memory support list for the Wintec RAM on that motherboard. I made the mistake of not checking building a friends PC.. D:

Actually, any reason why you didn't pick 1866MHz RAM? The motherboard supports it natively.
