Pc build for FSX and Minecraft

Hello Community,

Ive been interested in building a Pc that can play Minecraft and FSX on quite high graphics/Fps. My budget is around $500-$700 (AUD) and i have never built a PC in my life. I was wondering if you could help me out and give me some basics on what i could use and what is recommended.

And here are a few tips:
1- Static Electricity.Static Electricity is THE WORST if it happens to you.It's basicly electricity build up in your body, this effect is strongest when working on a carpet.To avoid this is to get an anti-static strap, and strap it to the PSU which is plugged into the wall and turned off.
2- Thermal paste. Thermal paste is the KEY for cooling.Some good brands are arctic silver 5 and MX-4
3- Overclocking (Your system doesn't support it 🙁 ).This is probably one of the BEST ways to boost performance, but upgrades and still better.I am not going to explain how to overclock since there are tutorials writeen already

PSU is very poor quality and needs to be changed. An Antec VP-450 would be a much better choice.

CPU cooler is pointless. That i3 will be perfectly fine on the stock cooler. 212 Evo is a waste of money.

CPU is wrong. That model i3 is MORE expensive because of better built in graphics that OP isn;t even going to use because he will have a GPU. HE should be getting the i3 4160.

Motherboard NEEDS a BIOS update for any of these CPUs to work and it cannot be done without a compatible CPU. OP should be buying an h97 board for these CPUs.

Overclocking is not needed at all and overclocking intel CPUs has very little gains in games anyway.

Why the HELL do you hate Corsair so much? They have high quality Japaniese capacitor with a butt ton of protection crammed inside them. (╯°□°）╯︵ ┻━┻

Antec, XFX, Seasonic, EVGA (G2,B2,P2,GS) are what we recommend and stand by.

Anything OEM'd by SuperFlower, Delta, Seasonic basically. Have a look at the PSU tier list in my sig. Anything form tier 1 or tier 2 is what we recommend.

People love Corsair and think everything they make is god's gift to computers. And they take advantage of that by selling PSU's that were cheap to make (well cheap for the OEM's to make) and then they just jack up the price due to brand hype. It's simple marketing and I don't really blame them for taking advantage of it.
