I was wondering how well this build would work for photo editing and if the parts are compatible. I don't need anything extreme, just something for basic photo editing. Is there anything I should change or add? Any parts I can change for cheaper ones to save a little money but not drastically cut performance? Thank you in advance!

the 2600 is very close to the 3600 performance wise and the price difference makes the 2600 a deal. the 2600 will work out of the box with the motherboard which may require a BIOS update to support the 3600. the savings from the CPU went to the GPU. the 580 is on par with the 1060 but has much more onboard memory. the power supply was also replaced for one with a longer warranty, higher efficiency and higher quality. you should have enough in the budget for a large HDD.
