I'd like to get back into streaming I currently do record, already but my PC is becoming outdated so I decided to order some new parts.
This PC build is strictly for recording, gaming, editing, and streaming. I stream overwatch, minecraft, and black ops.

For streaming you really need an i7 6700. Many games will push that i5 to very high usage leaving little spare to stream. You also really want to buy 2x8Gb RAM as a matched pair.

Sizzling, interesting. I'll probably buy a new i7 in a while. But what would the fps be like?

Fps will depend on the game but if you start maxing out the CPU the fps will be very choppy with big dips. If I we're you I would just wait until you can get the i7. Getting an i5 later upgrade to an i7 is a expensive route.

Hmm only problem is my i5 already arrived along with the power supply, motherboard and ram.

If your serious about streaming Id send it back. The 6500 is great for just gaming but wont cut it for streaming modern games.

Hmm ok. I think I'll just stream the games I have that aren't too crazy to run and think about upgrading later. But thank you for the help.
