http://pcpartpicker.com/p/wCLPrH which cpu cooler is the best for me?

I'm a console gamer and I want to join the master race. This will be my first build. Any corrections or suggestions would be highly appreciated. I'm not sure about the case tho. I chose it because it looks sleek af. I want to have a black/red or white/red theme. I want to run games mid to high setting. At least 1080p 60+fps. I'm actually on a tight budget. I only have 40,000php (Philippine peso (850$) as of now so I'll just have to wait for at least a month to purchase all the parts. Can you also suggest a good, not-that-expensive, quality monitor, keyboard, speaker and mouse. (As much as possible, I want my setup to cost no more than 1200$)

Can you also help me decide which laptop to buy? The Dell XPS 13 or the 2015 Macbook Pro 13". I'll be using the laptop for college. I've disregarded my gaming laptop choices since I'll build a PC. I've read some reviews that the Macbook is faster and is more college-student friendly, but I also like the design/infinity display of the XPS 13.

Thanks in advance :)

No problem. A GTX 970 is a great card! If you are going down the SLI route you need to back it up with a good quality 750watts minimum power supply. Don't buy the cheapest one, PSU's are the heart of your system and are very important.

You want a PSU in Tier 1 or 2. Higher the better. Have a read: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/id-2547993/psu-tier-list.html

All the best.
Kept it black/red/white as much as possible.

Thank you for your suggestion. Do you think that my build would be perfect for me? I'll change my video card to Msi GTX 970. I'll probably spend at least 1450$ on my whole setup...
One reason I chose that case is because I'll probably upgrade when my PC gaming gets serious... Let's say early 2016....
My first plan is to buy a 960 and then buy another gtx 960 when there's a good deal.
Now, my plan is to SLI my gtx 970 once there's a good deal.

Regarding the laptop choices, apparently, the Dell XPS 13 is out of stock... My current choices are the Macbook Pro 13" 2015 (i5 512gb) or the Macbook Pro 15" 2015 (i7 512gb). We'll be buying the laptop in Indonesia tomorrow. The price of the 13" is 1800$ and the 15" is 2500$ . (for a college student)

Its nice to have a plan yes. If you are thinking of SLI in the future you will need to upgrade that motherboard to a Z97. Socket 1150 has great CPU upgrade paths. But, if you are spending a lot on this rig then its probably worth going for new generation Skylake platform (socket 1151) straight away. No point spending a significant amount of cash on previous gen parts.

As for you laptop situation i can't really comment but in my opinion, Apple products are overpriced. But they are good quality.

I'll be going for my first build... MSI Z97-GAMING 5 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard...
I'll change my video card to GTX 970.
Probably Corsair H100i GTX. I'm not sure tho because I'm a beginner and water cooling might be complicated.

My build will have to adjust based on the prices/ deals here...

We're probably going for the 15" Macbook Pro...

Thanks
