Hi, I need help building my pc. I need it mostly for gaming but I need it to work CAD tools, like solid works / CATIA. here are the specs.
Cpu : i7 6700k
Gpu: gtx 1080 evga ftw
MB : asus rog maximus 8 formula
Cabin: corsair 780t
Cpu cooler:Corsair h110i
SSD:Samsung Evo 850 500 GB
2tb hdd @7200 RPM
RAM:G skill trident 16 gb 3200 MHz
Power supply:Corsair RM850i.
**monitor: asus rog pg278/279 q**

I'm spending way more than I'm capable of. So I must get the specs right.
Here are some doubts I have with the build :
1. I've read that the new haswell boards are better for applications like CAD, but I think it's too expensive and these applications should work okay with the skylake as well. Or should I actually be considering the haswell even if it is the older 5000 series boards.
2. As for the mother board people have suggested me to go with the asus z170 pro gaming board to save some cash, but I'm confused. Since I'm spending way more than I should be, I thought I should be getting the best board to future proof it.
3. I know that all gtx perform really well and it's for the super enthusiastic people who are very specific about their clock speeds that make them decide which card to pick. After reading way too much and checking benchmarks, I went with RGB lights ( lol)
The above are my main concerns.
I ***'d the monitor section because I'm getting it a little later so that I collect my low monthly paychecks to save up. I'm thinking g-sync monitors and would like to get your help to decide among other alternatives. I'm thanking you guys in advance for making it through till the end of the post. Any other suggestions appreciated as well. Thank you :)

Took the effort to compose a pcpp list (in USD) with original parts,
pcpp: http://pcpartpicker.com/list/JHG2kT

And also made some changes with it (color theme: white).

Few words about it.

GPU - Nvidia Titan X Pascal

Need i say more? 😀

I'm from India, the build I mentioned is costing me around Rupees 200000. Which amounts to a little less than 3000 USD. A little more than half the build cost is being paid by my mum as a college graduation gift, the rest is what I can pay for. I'm getting the parts from a small company made up of college graduates who are hardcore gamers. As most parts have to be imported / customs should be dealt with. These guys have a deal with vendors and it's the cheapest way of getting new tech here. To put things into context a gtx 1080 zotac amp extreme costs 1100 USD on the online store here. Parts which are already shipped by the National dealer comes cheap. So I have limited options(if I want it cheap) . The parts that are to be imported are taken care by the company. So I can't really mention a favorite store. A build that cost me 3000 USD here would cost around 2600 USD there(assuming USA) . So that would be the budget. Or a budget of 3000 USD with a monitor. Preferably a g-sync.

Here is the build:

Get all of them from Amazon.in In this list 3 items are getting imported the 2 GPUs and the Case the GPUs come with international warranty that means you can claim it with EVGA India. The case I think it also comes with warranty would recommend you to check with Amazon.in remaing all other components come with Indian warranty.

This is the best build you can get.

Hurry and get PSU and CPU before stock runs out. The monitor is available in Amazon.in and comes with Indian warranty too. If you wanna wait and get 4K G-sync Monitor then go with firs build. If you wanna hurry up the build and are satisfied with 1440p then go for second build.

I tweaked my Titan X Pascal build to fit into the budget with monitor incuded.

Here it is.

That two Ideas are great of including TITAN X PASCAL and 1080p monitor which will last long at ultra settings in comparison 1440p. The only problem is that TITAN X PASCAL price in India including customs is around ₹1,00,000 which makes it unworthy of getting for a build like this. If a person was to spend ₹3,00,000 then I would definitely recommend it. And if he is not in need of monitor then simply remove the monitor and add a TITAN X PASCAL which is again a great idea.
