hey guys so this is my first time building a pc (currently choosing parts) and i was wondering if this is a good setup.

i mainly wanna play league of legends, counter strike, skyrim, but the most game i will spend time on is player unknown battlegrounds which is this new game that just came out. i also do plan on changing the graphics card to a gigabyte geforce gtx 960 g1 gaming oc edition but its kinda been pricey lately. this is kinda almost a budget build. i already have mouse, keyboard and mic but i need a new monitor. whats good normal and cheap monitor with HDMI? thanks!

Not bad, but a 480 is better than a 960, so I'm not sure why you would change to that. A 480 should play at 1080 60Hz just fine. I would say high on most games, maybe even Ultra. If you just really wanted Nvidia, assuming you already have the 480, anything short of a 1060 6GB is going to be a downgrade. If you don't already have a GPU, a 1050 isn't a bad option, it's cheap enough and should give you medium-high at 60Hz 1080p. I wouldn't get a 1050 Ti, price to performance over the 1050 is a joke. Unless you can find one for less than $120 it's not even worth it. A 1060 3GB is a great budget option as well and should do high on almost any game.

The 6500 isn't a bad CPU either but I would get a 7500. The newer series isn't much more than...
