I currently have a PC that I built last year that I am struggling to use for streaming and gameplay. Last year I that I was alittle green at what I was purchasing and thought I was on a good start. But I am running into trouble and need some help trying to see what needs to be done in regards to upgrading the components.

Here is the layout of whats current installed.

AMD FX-8300 Vishera 32nm Technology
16.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 669MHz
Gigabyte Technology Co. Ltd. GA-990FX-GAMING (CPU 1)
2047MB NVIDIA GeForce GT 710 (MSI)
931GB Seagate ST31000528AS (SATA)
465GB Western Digital WDC WD5000AAKX-22ERMA0 (SATA)
750 PSu

I'm on a very tight budget and need to know what can be done to allow this to handle streaming and gameplay. Any information is appreciated!

From the fact you say very tight budget.
All you can do is play with your settings.

Put the detail of your games to low , set streaming quality 720p.

The best thing you could do would be upgrading the CPU, but that would also mean new mobo and ram so I would save up for that upgrade.

You should upgrade that graphics card to something like a GTX 1050ti. That will get you better FPS and streaming.

Save up for a GTX 1050.

Yea definitely that GPU needs to be upgraded I would go with a GTX 1060 or Rx 580 if their prices were not so outrageous at the moment.
So for a nice budget card to upgrade to I would look at getting something second hand off of eBay.

I would pM that guy with the 970 and offer him $180 to buy it great card at that price point otherwise you could get a 1060 but it'll cost you about $230 right now for a 3gb version ugh

Seems out of the price range...
$180 is also a bit much for a 970, offer 150-170 MAX.
Also for comparison of how bad those graphics are, here's a rough comparison with my 3 year old midrange i5 laptop's integrated graphics.
