[SOLVED] PC Build help

Hello, so Im fairly new to pc builds. My current Pc my friend helped me build like 7 years ago now and its quite dated.

I have made a list via this site and if anyone could take a look at it and see what they think, possibly offer alternatives or what-have-you that would be fantastic!

I also found a prebuilt that looks interesting! its an i5 but I was thinking I could just buy an i9 or i7 and replace it myself?

- I will be using this PC for gaming as well as personal work - maya, zbrush, rendering on marmoset UE4 and the like. Games would include things like Total war warhammer 2, cyberpunk, rust, stellaris, crusader kings 3.

You don't seems to have a budget? That list is for 2300 dollars. I would assume in this area?

If you want to do productivity stuff on your PC I would strongly recommend a Ryzen system. Especially Ryzen 5000.

Normally, I'd say you can do better building your own over a prebuilt.

But with GPUs being either impossible to find, or running a double to triple what they should be (I saw what should be a ~$120 GTX 1650, bottom, entry level card, for for $325!)'

I'd wait a few months or go ahead and get a decent prebuilt

sorry I forgot to include budget - anywhere between 1200 and 2500 would work but below 2 grand would be ideal

Without knowing your monitor's resolution its pretty much impossible to recommend a psu and video card.

Two cards that I would recommend for that resolution but neither are in stock atm. RTX 3060 Ti (suggested retail $400 USD) and the RTX 3060 with a suggested retail of $330 USD. 600+W psu for the 3060 Ti and 550W for the 3060.

One other thing I forgot to mention .. seeing how you are also using that PC for work you might want to think about going with an air cpu cooler so you don't have to hear that annoying pump going with the water set up. This cooler down below is well known for being silent.
