Just recently got together my computer.

Fx-6300
Msi ms7640
8gb ram
Gtx 760 SLI
SSD
HDD

Basically I have two issues. With the HDD plugged in I get beep codes. But with it unplugged and just the SSD plugged in I boot up fine.

Second issue, upon successful startup with my SSD i get blue screen asking to choose which volume to start up. Both are volume 1 windows 10. When I click default volume it’s just an endless loop of loading that same screen.

1| What is the make and model of your PSU? How old is it?
2| You forgot to mention the make and model of your rams as well as the HDD and SSD.
3| Does the issue exhibit itself with only one GPU?
4| I'm assuming the SSD with the OS was an installation migrated(without a clean install) from an older machine, correct?

PSU is 750 watt Corsair I believe. HDD is a western digital and the SSD is a Kingston.
And yes, I had a fx-6300 sold it because I was going to ryzen, then some more financially important things came up, so i just got another 6300. The OS is locked to the motherboard as it is a free upgrade from windows 7. Also forgot to mention the HDD does not show up.

At this point I am thinking the HDD is just toast, as I have no issues booting when it is uninstalled.
