So first question is do i need a faster cpu (Pls guys dont tell me to buy ryzen 9 or i9... its a budget build) i could probably upgrade it when ddr5 motherboards release in a 2-3 years i am looking to have future-proof graphic card which i think 3070 will do it...

Also i am shopping for a new monitor, will 1080p be an overkill for RTX 3070 even with 240hz
1440p monitors with 144hz are so expensive i mean i can buy it, but if the difference is not so large then i could save some money, i found samsung 1080p 240hz with g-sync for a good price, I found AOC 1440p 144hz monitor with freesync only (not compatible with g-sync by nvidia website) about 40$ expensive than that samsung one. But reviews are not so good for
him. Which monitor would you suggest me guys??

Also will all other components work nicely ?

Solution
3070 is perfect for 1080p especially when trying to hit 144hz+

You would deffintely need to overclock the CPU for it to keep up if you go with 1080p, at 1440p It will do OK but there will be some bottleneck without the overclock.
