Hi there,
I'm going to build a PC and I need some help.
First question is am I able to use de case from my old pc? I would be only for 2-3 months. It is a NOX Calypso https://i.ytimg.com/vi/CiNnQu77yXg/maxresdefault.jpg

The build I want to buy is this one:
CPU: i7-7700k
MB: Asrock Z270 Pro4
GPU: Palit Jetstream GTX 1060 6Gb (is palit a good brand?)
RAM: G.Skill Aegis DDR4-3000 (8gb for now)
PSU: Corsair Vengeance 550M (Is 550W enough? or should I get the 650W one? I want to OC)

In the case I need to buy immedatly a new case which one should is better: Corsair 100R or CoolerMaster MasterBox 5?

I'd like to buy a really cheap cooler now, it would be for just a few months (2-3), of course I won't overclock with this cooler, is any of these good enough?

A cheaper option would be nice.

Thank you

for your case it looks like a mid tower so the only thing i would be worried about would be GPU length

if you are going to buy a case id go with the corsair 100r (corsair has steped up on the quality of there cases now)

for your GPU id go with a Gygabite or MSI 1070

your PSU id go up to a 750 (because from what im reading your going to be OC)

Thank you for your answer.

Isn't a 650W PSU enough? Can you recommend me some 750W PSU?
I'm on a tight budget I can't go for a 1070. I can only afford a gtx 1060

What about the cpu cooler? Are those good for a temporary situation?

i woud go with corsair 750 or an evga 750

(personally i buy Refurbs which i havnt had any problems with

that air cooler will be just fine like you said dont over clock with it
as a temp with the air cooler its perfect

The 550w is actually more than enough for the build even when ocing. If you add everything up I would be surprised if it would ever consume more than 300w total.

650w will be more than enough for overclocking overhead. For the 1060, I would personally get the cheapest 6GB version you could of it. Pascal is pretty cookie cutter in terms of core strength.

If you invest a bit of money into a slightly better air cooler you could easily just leave the processor on air and do a lighter overclock on it instead of heavy. And even if you don't invest slightly more into it--you should still be able to get a light overclock on the processor without hitting thermal limits. Just make sure you watch out for it.
