Hello ,

I wanna upgrade my PC after years and am very clueless what to do. I got budget of 2000 euros and Would like a monitor included in upgrade , i Mostly play WoW but like to dabble in other games , Would like to have a 1440p Resoluation Setup for My Pc and be able to play most games.

If there is any recommendations i would love to hear.

thank you!

What country are you in?

What stores might you buy from online?

Do you have any preferences for AMD or Intel or liquid cooling or RGB stuff?
Thank you for reply

I am From belgium so Likely surrounding countries ,

I saw Megekko Seems to be pretty decent price wise ,

I Don't mind any (amd or intel) if i get most bang for buck , I never used liquid cooling (last time i build pc was back in 2012 But i believe it would be best ) , RGB i Don't like but again if it comes with cost of performance then i am not fuzzy about it.

Is the monitor to be included in the budget?

Yes In 2000 Euro Give or take , could go bit up or down if worth it.
A little over but it's worth it imo. That 120mm Arctic fan goes inside the back of the case for a rear exhaust fan.

I just read that you play WoW. That build price can be reduced by going with a RTX 4070 and 750W power supply. The build I posted might be a little overkil

Would i not need Windows ? And wanna stay close to 2000 but Do want a lasting PC (i don't wanna upgrade so quick)

That looks great , What about a liquid cooler? Would this be better over AMD build? i do prefer intel but i was googling around and heard 6950 is performing better.

There is certainly no over-riding need for liquid cooling on a 13400 of any type.

But you may have a preference for reasons of your own?

I don't think there is a 13400K.

13400F lacks integrated video.

13400 has integrated video.

K is available on 13600 and above.

The i5 13500 would be the closest cpu to the 13400F that comes with integrated graphics.
OK my bad i am clueless about such things ,
Would this AMD build be better or you would say intel?

I am not sure about Mobo , Ram and PSU but if you could have a quick look would appreciate it!
I am also not too sure about 4070 vs 9650, i have been googling for past couple days and only getting more confused
The PSU there i couldn't find on the same shop i could every other component , NZXT C850 is good cpu?

That build works ^^ I made a few changes to it. Updated Asus monitor ... newer version for the same price .. added a 120mm rear exhaust fan to that case, changed the RAM to AMD EXPO, changed to a dual tower ARGB air cooler and changed up to a full size ATX board.

So couple Questions , The monitor is same model but the one you link is 'newer' as i understand?
Why not Liquid cooler? And Case didn't have exhaust fan i guess , Is there an alternative to that Case? i am not fan of RBG anyways . Why the Ram change? And power supply is semi modular , Is it worth it over non modular of similar price? i saw NZXT C850 But not sure if its similar quality.

Please take these Question as me trying to understand / learn , not Questioning you 😀

thank you

You last built in 2012. That implies you will likely want to stay with these parts for a long time. Nothing wrong with performance of liquid coolers, but they have longevity/maintenance issues not found in air coolers. If you were getting a 13900, liquid would be near mandatory; if you were getting a 13700, it would be a sensible option, a possibility. But you may have some over-riding inclination for liquid....if that is the case, go ahead.

Plausible decent quality PSUs are normally "full modular" or "semi modular"...neither of which is necessarily an indicator of quality. Either should work fine if acceptable quality otherwise. "Non-modular" is not often seen among better units.

That air cooler I posted cools better than most if not all 240 AIO's. AMD EXPO is AMD's version of Intel XMP. Modular means less cables to deal with inside your case. btw Seasonic manufactures that NZXT psu.

Both are reasonable Quality and ok to go for?

Are the above out of your budget?
No , I could spend a little extra for quality

I am however confused about Monitors now , they both are same but not reeally? 😀
