[SOLVED] Pc build on a budget

Im building a gaming pc but i want to overclock my cpu to over than 4.1 or 4.2 and i keep seeing people ocing their i5 6600T but i will get 6600k is it possibe to overclock cpus that dont have a K in their generation? and my second question will the 6600k get me more preformance?
By the way my gpu is a gtx 1060 3gb
