So I'm building my pc soon and Ist about a 1500 dollar build with monitor os and peripherals, the build itself is around 1100 . I want someone to give me their opinions on this.
Cpu: i5 4 690
gpu: Asus strix gtx 970
mobo: Asus maximus vii hero
Ram: Corsair vengance 8 gb
Psu: Evga 80 plus gold 750w G2 fully modular psu
Case: nzxt h440
1 tb hdd
Corsair h100i with 2 corsair sp120 and 1 af140
note:I am planning on getting a second gpu within six months any thoughts on this build guys?

I would budget some money for an SSD. Even a 120 GB one can be used for the OS, and the advantages of overall system speed, boot time and not having to defrag make it well worth it.
