Hi, im building my first pc for my dad. He would use it for work at home, itunes and for browsing the net.

Here are the parts i will be using:

Case: Corsair CC-9011075-WW Carbide Series 100R Windowed Mid-Tower ATX Computer Case - Black

Cpu: Intel Pentium Dual-Core G4400 3.3 GHz Processor CPU

CPU Cooler: Standard cooler that comes with the processor

Motherboard: Asus B150M-C Motherboard (Socket 1151, B150, DDR4, S-ATA 600, Micro ATX)

RAM: Crucial 8GB DDR4 2133 MT/s (PC4-17000) DR x8 DIMM 288-Pin - CT8G4DFD8213 (single stick)

SSD: ADATA SU800 128GB 3D-NAND 100TB TBW Long-Endurance 560MB/s Read High Speed 2.5 Inch SATA III Solid State Drive (ASU800SS-128GT-C)

HDD: WD Blue 1TB Desktop Hard Disk Drive - 7200 RPM SATA 6 Gb/s 64MB Cache 3.5 Inch

Wifi Card: TP-LINK TL-WN881ND 300 Mbps Wireless N PCI Express Adapter with Two Antennas

PSU: Corsair CP-9020049-UK VS Series ATX/EPS 80 PLUS Power Supply Unit, 450 W

Optical Drive: ASUS Internal DVD Writer DRW-24D5MT (BOX)

Windows 7/10 (not sure yet)

Thats all the parts. Are they compatible? did i miss anything out? Also, if you think some of the components are too good/not good enough for simple day to day workings then feel free to recommend some alternative components.

Lastly, i want to install windows 7/10 and have it as my boot drive. Is this easy to do? I want to use the HDD for most other things that will be on the pc.

It all looks fine to me.

As for Windows, you'll have to get a license and all of that, then install Windows to the solid state. Shouldn't be any more complicated than that, and then you'll be able to use the HDD for long term storage.
