I apologise foremost if this is posted in the wrong area.

I was wondering how to find out which power supply for computer is ideal, What wattage to be precise?
I'm building using:
ASUS Q87M-E/CSM LGA 1150 - Motherboard
Intel® Core™ i7-4900MQ Processor - CPU
ripjaw f3 10666 DDR3 16gb - RAM
Asus GTX 1050 Expedition OC 2GB - Graphics card

Solution
first of all you can´t mix laptop cpu with desktop 1150 motherboard . it won´t work .
this is the cpu support list of your motherboard: https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/Q87ME/HelpDesk_CPU/

for the power supply : good quality 450w will be enough for gtx 1050 and non K haswell i5/i7 processor .
corsair CX450M is a nice little power supply for example .

yes it is: https://www.notebookcheck.net/Intel-Core-i7-4900MQ-Notebook-Processor.86104.0.html

best cpu for your motherboard (without a bios update) would be i7 4770 .
well technically 4770K (but it would be pointless to buy it
since you would be paying extra money for overclocking capability which your motherboard does not support)

but keep in mind gtx 1050 is not that great video card
and even cheaper i5 processor would be enough for it
if gaming is your main priority you should consider paying a bit more extra for gtx 1050Ti .
