Main usage for this PC Build:

1)Watching Movies
2)Some Gaming(i.e GTA V, Battlefield Hardline, Far Cry 3 or 4, The Witcher 2 or 3 etc)
3)Maybe little video conversation
4)And using Photoshop, Illustrator and Dreamweaver.

Processor:

Intel i5 4690K Processor is $300

OR

Intel 3.5 GHz LGA 1155 Core i7 3770K Processor is $320

Questions:
Does the I7 3770K seem like the better investment here?
But since it's 3rd gen, does it make it any lesser worth it now?

Graphic Card:

AMD R9 380X 4GB is $425

OR

Nvidia GTX 960 4GB is $300

*That is the price in India

Questions:
1) I heard that the GTX 960 has only a 128 bit memory bus and the R9 380X has a 256 bit bus, Will that make any big difference?
I have seen lot of reviews and it seems the R9 380x only is better by 7-8 FPS, so will the bigger memory bus make the card better in the future(sorry if this sounded stupid)?

Info:
1)I plan on gaming with either one of these cards for at least 3 years, i don't mind playing even in Medium Settings, but i only need it to be above at least 40-50+ FPS.

2)Will be using it only on a 1080P or 720P display(Either Monitor or TV)

3)I considered the 4GB version because the 2GB and 4GB version are nearly the same cost.

I mostly plan on connecting this computer with a 720P 32 inch LG TV, so will it have any tearing or latency?

I apologize for asking so many questions, this will be my first desktop computer, i have been using laptops over the last 10 years.

The 380x is faster but IMHO its not a $125 better. For what your are doing the i7 would be a good choice, another option to look at is the Xeon E3-1231 V3.

The Xeon E3-1231 V3 is nearly $380 here in India which is more than the I7 3770k with an iGPU.

Would the GTX 960 suffice for Medium to High graphics for at least 3 years, or should i save up more and buy a GTX 970? Which though is more powerful than 960 but has only a 3.5 GB VRAM, since most games i play cross 3.5 GB easily, i'm skeptical about that.

Both the R9 380X and R9 380 are same price here in India, which is about $425, which is same as GTX 970, which i think is much more powerful than these two, but the GTX 970 has a VRAM of 3.5 GB, most games which i play crosses the 3.5 GB easily, so that got me thinking, would the GTX 960 suffice for at least 3 years on Medium to high graphics?

Yes, The K series allows for overclocking, but as mentioned before, i i used a desktop only as a kid, and i never tried overclocking, and would probably only do it if it is absolutely necessary and if it would give at least 30% performance boost, i apologize if i sound naive, but I've heard that overclocking decreased the lifespan of the processor.

Nvidia cards are quite inexpensive here, while AMD once are nearly double that of the US prices, the R9 380(X) costs as much as the GTX 970 here in India. But i don't play games that much so i figured that GTX 970 would be a over kill for me.
