PC Build Relevancy

I just built a PC and i'm wondering how long I have until I need to upgrade parts. My specs are:

Motherboard: MSI X299 Gaming PRO Carbon AC

CPU: i9-7900x (the reason I didn't go after the i9-9xxx series is because i heard people having problems with them overheating)

PSU: Corsair AX1500i

GPU: MSI RTX 2080 Seahawk

RAM: 128GBs Corsair Dominator

SSD: M.2 Samsung Evo 500GBs

HDD: Western Digital Purple 12TBS

Case: DeepCool New Ark 90

Odd choice of components. I'm sure the RAM will be obsolete before you need anywhere near half of it. But I'm sure it will still be a relevant build long in to the future. You will probably need to upgrade the GPU first. Not sure why you didn't get an RTX 2080 Ti.. and at least a 1TB SSD.

What CPU cooler do you have?

What monitor are you using?

1080p 144hz, the 2080tis, most are still defective and nvidia doesn't sale them right now. and the new ark 90 comes with its own liquid cooling system which keeps the temp on the cpu around 30-40 degrees Celsius. i use the pc for gaming, but i also use it to make beats on. with the Kontakt libraries, the better ones eat up anywhere around 5-25gbs each in ram, so thats why i maxed out the ram. the cpu because the software is extreamly demanding

Well nobody knows the future, but it seems like it would be relevant for at least the next decade. But like i said, you will probably want to upgrade the GPU after a few years depending on your gaming needs. At some point I would also replace the liquid cooler. I've only had mine for a couple months. I'm not sure how much I trust them to last over the years.

if it does, all the hardware is already registered and they all say that since the case its own liquid cooling, if anything got wet and fried, they would be under warranty
