Intel i5 CPUs and greater, and in most cases even the i3s outperform any AMD CPU for gaming and other CPU tasks like rendering and multitasking as they have significantly faster cores. The PSU you chose isn't the best quality and there's a whole lot more than just wattage. The crappiest PSUs are sometimes labeled to be 400W for example and they barely can handle 100W.
