Hi all,

This is my build:

MSI H170 Gaming M3 mobo
2TB WD Caviar Black HDD
Corsair VS650
intel i7-6700
MSI GTX 980 Ti Gaming 6g
Thermaltake Versa N23 PC Case/Chassis
Kingston HyperX Fury 16GB DDR4

My question is:
Is it safe to store my PC (sealed in a plastic bag) inside a carton box for 3 months? My room temperature is around 30 - 35 Degree Celsius on average. I've put 2 tiny bags of silica gel to remove moisture inside the PC case/chassis. I haven't turned ON the PC since I built it. Thanks!
Sorry for the noob question.

Solution

Consider a shipping container full of PC's, sitting on top of a cargo ship, in the middle of summer.
Coming from China to Portugal.

Hot as hell inside that shipping container.

When they arrive at the final destination in Lisbon...open the box, plug it in...works just fine.
Hi thanks for all the comments. I enclosed the PC in a plastic box to prevent dust getting inside it. and the carton box for extra support. Do you think the components will endure 30 - 35 degree celsius for over 3 months?
