If were to build a new PC myself in today's date, I would stick to Intel processors, not because I am a fan of Intel but because AMD processors and the supporting technology is getting outdated and any system build around it would close the doors on any future CPU upgrades without having to upgrade the motherboard. Thus, I would prefer a i3 6100 build and hope to upgrade to a better CPU in the coming years without having to spend much, in fact that is what I did a few months ago. So here is the build I would like to request you to take a look upon:

Yes it will run just fine with a solo SSD as it would in case of a HDD. However, space of 120 GB would be a huge concern and you might need to look for additional storage option quite soon.

Intel build if you can aford the extra 20$. Has an rx 470, whixch is going to be way better than a rx 460.
Intel is the better choice I agree with ImmortanMoe. It is a more future proof option.
If you can wait till early 2017, AMD zen may be worth waiting for.
The zalman case is not as good as the corsair case I mentioned. I seriously recommend the 200r
