Hey guys, this is my first ever PC build and I just wanted to get your opinions on the parts and what I could potentially swap components for! I also have a couple of questions regarding some of the parts I'm considering, but first, here's the part list:

http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/MVLjdC

Now I will be using the PC for gaming and haven't got a a specific game in mind as I tend to pick up anything and everything, but just a quick list of a couple games I have would be something like: Battlefield, WoW, LoL, Diablo, CS:GO, Darksouls and The Witcher.

Q1 - H100i or the H100i GTX?
Now, opted for water cooling as I'm paranoid as hell about cooling, but which is better? The GTX is slightly cheaper and has a lower fan RPM (~2450 vs 2700), but I'm not sure which I should opt for, maybe the GTX has something I'm unaware of that makes it better?

Q2 - Do I need thermal paste?
A friend of mine told me that his H100i already had thermal paste applied when he purchased it, so I don't need to buy any?

Q3 - Which MOBO should I get?
I have absolutely no idea about MOBO's so I just picked one with decent reviews, is there anything better for the price?

Q4 - DDR3 or DDR4?
Also is 1600MHz a good speed to settle for?

Q5 - Is 8GB more than enough for gaming? Or should I opt for 12GB in the form of three 4GB sticks?

Q6 - Now I'm pretty sure the PSU is overkill, but what sort of wattage should I be looking at?
And does efficiency rating matter all too much? Even in terms of cooling (less heat output in gold certified I think)

Q7 - Would you recommend this case?
I am looking for a mid tower as I am tight for space, but was considering completely changing the MOBO to a m-atx or an itx, but again, I'm worried about the cooling from a lack of airflow that may have.

Q8 - I'm pretty sure ALL motherboards (if not most) have room for more than one drive, but I do plan on getting a second SSD shortly after I finish the build, but this does definitely allow for more than one drive yes? (Sorry for being so stupidly paranoid lol)

Of course any recommendations you have on any of the parts, be it just simply a different make or model of RAM, or a completely different liquid cooling system, I'd highly appreciate any input whatsoever.
Thanks everyone!

p.s. I am in the UK if that has any influence on parts I could get my hands on or pricing.

TL;DR
Building PC, do you think it's good for games?

A few things. 1. You DO NOT need water cooling, even if you are overclocking fairly heavily, don't let anyone tell you otherwise. You'd only need water cooling if you were really heavily overclocking, but if you even just want to do a moderate overclock, an aftermarket air cooler will keep it at healthy temps. If you don't intend to overclock at all you'd really be fine witha stock cpu cooler but I'd suggest a cheap aftermarket air cooler. 2. Corsair's CX psus are awful quality compared to other psus of similar price, DO NOT buy Corsair's CX psus. Try XFX, EVGA's G2 or B2 series, or a Seasonic PSU. 3. 8gb of RAM is all you need for now but that's changing, soon you'll need 16gb for big titles, but again 8gb is fine for now and you can...

You can add as much storage as your case will allow, your motherboard doesn't really tend to limit you unless you were to run out of connectors or something.

The build below is what I'd suggest. It's slightly cheaper, has double the RAM, has a 3TB hard drive to go with your SSD so you shouldn't run out of storage any time soon, a much higher quality psu, and a sufficient cpu cooler even if you intend to do a moderate overclock.

Edit: Also I'd definitely suggest the r9 390 over the gtx 970 because it has far more VRAM, and while it doesn't run quite as cool or as efficiently as a gtx 970, it doesn't have th VRAM issues that the gtx 970 does (the gtx 970 has 4gb of VRAM, but only 3.5gb of that VRAM works effectively, the rest slows down the rest of the gpu's processes when it is used, I've run into that problem plenty personally, though you'd be fine with a gtx 970 at 1080p).

More than 8 gb memory is used occasionally now, and your old power supply was a bad one, fixed those two things and got a cheaper board to offset it all. Either cooler is adequate, you don't "need" paste as it will have some, you can only use ddr3 since you chose a haswell CPU, board was fine, so is this one just trying to be cost neutral with more performance. You can hook up a ton of ssds to it and be fine

Wow, wow, wow! Thank you all so, so much! All of this info really helps, especially with the PSU, I think I'll go with the G2 based on your suggestion cleanshot and the reviews on amazon U.S. for a power supply. I'm going to be sticking with the gtx 970 over the AMD, as I won't be 4K gaming any time soon, but thank you and everyone else for all of the feedback, I'll definitely be taking on all your words and making adjustments to get my build just right! Thanks again!
