Just a little gaming nothing major and a little video editing and some 3d rendering I am wanting to be able to do some upgrading on it in the future

you have the budget, so why not go for a high end CPU cooler instead if a hyper 212 evo, yes it's a good cooler but seeing as you have the budget, why not get better?
like the Noctua NH-D14

editting will ask alot of the CPU so you cant go wrong with it.

ah yes about the RAM, as you will be rendering it's also advisble to get some faster RAM, and 16 gigs of it. but seeing as you said you'll only be doing some light rendering 8 should do. i'm just poining out that it's better for rendering to get some more RAM.
and i'll check if it will fit with your RAM, just give me a second.

and you can also go for watercooling ofcourse like the corsair h80i, then you wont have anything to worry about

the noctua cooler has 44mm clearance, which means you can have RAM DIMMS up to a height of 44 milimeters
