PC Build with £1350 budget

I have a budget of £1350 (give or take £50) to build a PC that can be considered future proof, at least for the next few years in terms of gaming etc.

I will mainly use this PC for studying, gaming, photoshop, coding and as a Plex server.

I do not know much in way of parts of what prices are best so I would greatly appreciate it if you could have a look at this build and tell me how or if I can improve it.

I haven't added a mice and keyboard to the list since I already have some at home. Have a look at the build and tell me what you think.

An overclockable CPU would have been cool but I managed to order the new Skylake i7 6700 (non k version) for £209. I thought it was a steal so I ordered it. Now, it is up to Amazon whether they honour the order or not.

If you have an opinion regarding monitors then yes please, add this to your recommendations as I would like the best monitor (within my price range) to go with my PC build

Well, the i7 going for £209 seemed like a great deal so I went for it and I am also aiming to make it last in terms of performance so I don't have to upgrade again too soon after building it.

The PC will be the main computer and will be used as a Plex server a lot during the day whilst I go about with my other work such as studying, coding and photoshop.

Why do you need such a ridiculous storage solution? Do you really need a 1TB SSD when you can get a 2TB mechanical drive for half the cost and you get twice the storage? Also no case with this build.

I forgot to add that you would choose your own case as its personal preference, forgive me.

I'd prefer a 1TB SSD > 2TB HDD - were all different, there's nothing ridiculous about it, its fabulous darling.

So you're paying twice as much for half the storage, and zero gained in terms of performance. I don't get it.

And choosing your own case is generally a bad idea because there's a lot of junk out there, and part of the reason this site exists is to separate the good stuff from the junk, am I right?

If he is planning a Plex server the a SSD is pointless for storage and 1TB is too small. A 4TB NAS drive would be better TBH.
