Hello everyone. I'm a first time builder and I had everything ready to order until I heard about the new Nvidia cards and have decided to put more money into the build to grab one. My real worry is whether or not the rest of the parts are compatable or suitable for the graphics card.

My build is currently a Intel i5-6500 CPU, Coolermaster Hyper 212X fan/CPU Cooler, Gigabyte GA-B150 D3H motherboard, G.Skill Ripjaws V Series (2 x 8gb), Samsung 850 EVO SSD, Seagate Barracuda 2TB HDD, NZXT S340 ATX Mid Tower Case, EVGA SuperNOVA NEX 650W (80+ gold if that's relevant) and Windows 7 Professional (open to any type of windows 7 honestly but only one on the market I can find in Australia). Would there be any potential problems with plugging a GTX 1070 into this build as is so far and if so; what needs to be changed. Any feedback massively appreciated.

Your System is fully compatible with the GPU you want to use in future. Rather its the most suitable system for a GTX 1070 in my opinion. The only problem can be your OS. All of your Components are latest genenration and using an Windows 7 on it can be a bottleneck. I recommend you to upgrade to Windows 10. Seasonic S12-II 620W PSU will be a better option than EVGA as Seasonic is the most reputable brand in PSU segment and you dont want to risk on any stability issues. Good luck! & Happy Building ;)
