Hi I’m trying to test compatibility on part picker, on almost every motherboard I add I get this notice - Warning! Some AMD B450 chipset motherboards may need a BIOS update prior to using Matisse CPUs. Upgrading the BIOS may require a different CPU that is supported by older BIOS revisions. Will this affect my pc if I was to buy the parts which are making me get this warning?

That's mostly true, B450 chipset MBs were made with BIOS compatible up to Ryzen 2000 (Zen+) series and need BIOS compatible with 3000 series (Zen 2 Matisse core)). If in doubt contact seller to find if particular MB has BIOS updated to last version that is compatible with your intended 3000 series CPU.
Ps, Some MBs like MSI Max series have compatible BIOS for sure.

Do you have any other recommendations as to which PSU and motherboard I could use with a 3600? It would really help as I cannot find much which is compatible surprisingly.

Hi, PCPARTPICKER says that this setup is compatible, I wanted to see if everyone else tells me the same whether this system is fully compatible because I’m not too familiar on sizes etc in cases.
Also feel free to tell me if I should improve anything!

The stock cooler is pretty good to start with. Modified with better parts...

Would you recommend this setup over the one I made?

Why not???

The cooler you have chosen is pretty close to the stock cooler. To actually see any difference, you will need a far better cooler but it wont be worth it unless you are pushing extreme clocks 24x7 or you want it to be super quite.

The RAM is the sweet spot with tighter timing...

The NVME SSD is faster...

P2 is latest over P1 with even better speeds.

HDD has a bigger cache and space.

Better GPU and case with airflow and cable management.

And it costs pretty similar overall. You can ask if you have any other doubts.
