[SOLVED] PC Build

Recently I have bought some new components and I am wondering will they work with my current PSU XFX PRO550W https://www.exxactcorp.com/XFX-P1550SXXB9-E119878

• Motherboard: MSI Z370 Motherboard
• CPU: I7-8700k
• Water cooler corsair h80
• Storage: 860 QVO SATA" SSD 1TB
• RAM 16 GB
• GPU AMD Radeon RX 550 2GB

Unfortunately my budget right now is already streched. So if the current PSU won`t do I would have to wait a bit.

550 watts is more than enough, but I have no idea if your specific PSU is in good shape. The GPU uses something around 50 watts. The CPU "power draw" is 95 watts.

Should work, if the PSU is new. Older ones could be tricky since it's hard to judge what condition they are in imho.

That was made by Seasonic based from a older design but should be fine.
If you upgrade to a higher end video card that would be a good time to replace it.

Thank you all! So I guess I will give it a go. Yes the PSU is a bit older and is due to be replaced in a month or two. Hopefully it will do the job until then.

As for GPU I agree it ran its course but with current prices I think I will wait a bit more...probably gonna upgrade it to Geforce 1650ti or something in that range.
