So just to clarify, unless you're got some crazy high-end monitor, it will require a power cable and then just one cable from the monitor to the graphics card. In most cases the bundled cable with the monitor will work perfectly. If you've got a high end gaming monitor that has a high resolution, frame rate, or gaming features like "G-Sync" or "Free-Sync" it's worth using a "Displayport" cable, and using displayport connections on your graphics card and monitor. That's because some of the more advanced features aren't compatible with DVI or HDMI.
