Question PC can`t go trough POST due to some faulty hardware? what do you think!

Hello Guys
A friend of mine has this weird issue where the computer would sometimes not go trough POST and have this happen to his PC.

It would constantly freeze while playing games after 2-3 mins this started to happen 3-4 days ago,At first i tough it was some faulty GPU but since it cant boot sometimes i tough it might be something else like the MOBO? it dosn't look like RAM issue to me but im not sure since i haven´t tested it
when playing games it freezes with artifacts sometimes(this is why im leaning more towards faulty GPU),What do you guys think?
i think its either GPU or MOBO but im not really sure

His specs are these:

MOBO:MSI B360M PRO-VDH
CPU:I5-9400F 2.9GHz
GPU:Gigabyte Radeon RX580
RAM: DDR4 2666mhz 8GB CRUCIAL BALLISTIX SPORT
HDD:Seagate Barracuda 1TB
SSD:Kingston A400 240GB

swap GPU's. use your system to test his GPU and his motherboards will be tested by your GPU.
if the problem lies in either the answer should be quick.

step 17 is the motherboard beeping when it will not post?

The diagnostic speaker is the motherboards main diagnostic feedback device.
the motherboard may be telling you where the problem is.
my speakers have this plug

I use lamp wire but any stranded wire will do. literally any stranded wires. strip one end like so

attach the stripped end into the speaker spring clips on the speaker.
the other end of the wire should be trimmed like so the semi strip

by doing a semi strip the wire case is now the socket.
plug one wire to the first pin, and the second onto the fourth pin.
power on the system and listen for beeps

EDIT:About the beeping it didn't beep so i guess it might not have the speaker installed...
