PC can't detect PCIe WiFi card

I got a new PC but it didn't have on board WiFi so i bought a PCIe card for it because i knew that the motherboard wasn't the newest and could support the type of PCIe.

The only problem is my PC can detect the WiFi card at all. there is nothing in adaptor settings or in device manager

This whats in device manager. Please if someone could help me it would be very appreciated

Have you turned off the computer and removed and reseated the wifi adapter to make sure it is making good connection? Is there anything listed in Device Manager that is unidentified ("other devices") or has an exclamation mark?

I re seated the card and there is nothing in device manager

It would appear that the wifi card may be defective. Have you checked in BIOS to make sure that the pcie slot doesn't have to be enabled or otherwise may have a conflict? Though I've never seen pcie slots that can be disabled, it's possible that a pcie m.2 SSD could be using the resources of the slot.

i also don't think that i could be the m.2 slot as it is a rather old MB and might not even have an m.2 slot. my motherboard is the Gigabyte F2A78M-HD2 Motherboard

I don't see anything about wifi.
And by your first post, it might be the WAN Miniport. and it is detected.

I mean the card don't have wifi, it just a regular Ethernet card
