Hello Tom's Hardware users,
My PC can't handle XMP profile turned on with 16gb x 2 , but can with 8gb x 2. I get BSOD with MEMORY_MANAGEMENT error code and instant game crashes with 32 gb, XMP turned on. Runs fine with XMP turned off, running at default Mhz of 2133.
My question is, how can I fix it? Is this my motherboard or another component?
Mobo: PRO Z690-A DDR4
RAM: 16gb x 2 LPX Corsair Vengeance 3200 MHz
CPU: i7 12700k (at 4.7 GHz)
Cooler: Noctua D-15
Video Card: 3080 MSI Ventus
PSU: 850x corsair
I've been reading around and I think my mobo is the problem (unable to support 3200MHz with 32gb, despite being advertised to do so), but would like to confirm before getting a different one. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
