Hello everyone
I'm changing my old case Corsair spec 03 to the Fractal R6, (needed more space for storage) and what I'm asking is changing the cpu cooler(corsair h80i push&pull) to the topside would help to increase the perfomance or just leave it to the back side and use the extra fan I have(noctua nf-p12 for static pressure) as an airflow fan on the top side or maybe botton as pusher because the max RPM 1300 can't compete to the original h80i fans 2700

Solution

If the R6 allows, mount the radiator in a front location so it draws cool outside air in and across it. Then place fan(s) at the back and top to exhaust heated air from the case. There have been a couple of video demonstrations showing how this is better for CPU cooling when the graphics card exhausts it's hot air into the case but has negligible effect on graphics card temperature. If the graphics card exhausts it's air directly out of the case (a blower style, usually only reference designs have that) the difference isn't very great.

If it doesn't allow I'd have to imagine it doesn't matter whether at top or back.

If you want to influence the whole setup you can only change by changing the whole setup.
By only moving the fan from back to top...still as exhaust..there is almost no difference at all.
- having the radiator fan as exhaust on the top or back, this one is not optimal for proc but good for the rest of the system e.g. graphic card.
- having the radiator fan on the bottom or front as intake, is not so good for the rest of the system but good for the proc
The negative impact on the system if you put the cpu radiator fan as intake in front or bottom can also still be reduced by putting extra fans e.g. one more on the bottom as intake and one more as exhaust on the top.
I think Fractal Define R6 should have enough room for even more fans.

Cpu radiator only goes 43 at max and the cpu temp is like 55 - 60 at max in summer, the gpu on the other side can reach 81-2 during hard sessions my guess is leaving the radiator on the back side and using the notctua as botton or front airflow(dont know wich one the noctua is for static pressure)and the remain R6 fan to exhaust top or maybe just leaving things like that 2 front and the push/pull on the back

I guess that works well if you have no other exhaust and the GPU warms up the interior. The real trick is, that after moving away the radiator you add a back exhaust :)

hmmm..
GPUs are actually still ok that temp but...
what is the GPU anyway? Type, brand?
Can you still influence the GPU fan curve?
and more important, room temp!
Bring it also down if you can.
Not only the PC will like it, you will like it too.
55-60'C using AIO seems that your room is quite hot in summer.

If you have nice CPU temps and you are looking forward to bring your gpu temps lower, simply add extra case fans.

Yeah the sun hits my wall the in the afternoons room is pretty hot I'm usiong just a floor fan, gpu is gtx 970 msi, seems like adding extra fans would be the only solution
