pc case has noisy fans

I have a HAF-922 Mid Tower its got 3 fans not including the psu fan and its so figin noisy. kind of used to it now Ive had it for about 4-5 years but still bothers me at times. it came noisy so I presumed its just a noisy unit. but then I dont really know does it have to be?

There are probably two main options;
1) purchase low noise adapters that will undervolt the fans from 12V to 9V, 7V, or 5V depending on the adapter you buy.
OR
2) purchase new silence-optimised fans such as those from corsair quiet series.

2 problems.
1. I do not really wanting to compromise my airflow as my pc needs it. on a hot day in the high 30 degree temperatures my computer is working pretty hard. I tried turning the fan speed down using fanspeed and my computer was getting pretty hot. Even thinking of putting in more fans.
2. corsair quiet series dont have 200mm fans

Well the stock fans are sleeve bearing and @5yrs old.
I would either lubricate them(if possible) or buy two new 200mm Megaflows.
One for the top and one for the front.

I have the same case, and it is completely quiet. My problem was the 3 year old PSU that was making the most of the noise. Me also like you, though that the case was the problem, but i bought new GPU, and needed new PSU. After changing the PSU, my oh my, the difference was huge. If you run the same PSU as the one you got it with the case 4-5 years ago, maybe it is time to change it, or remove it and clean it.

yeah my computer came noisy I just presumed because its so big its like a sub woofer to all the running components inside. what PSU did you get?

You can see in my signature, bottom right, it is Cooler Master V550S 550w. But in my country there isn't much choice for PSU's. I would suggest you to get something from the brands such as :Corsair (avoid CX units), XFX, Antec or SeaSonic
Btw, did you bought it pre build, or build it yourself. If you bought it pre build, check if some of the fans are connected to the motherboard or to the PSU via molex. If they are connected to the PSU via molex, they will run at top speed, while on motherboard, they will run accordingly to your settings.I also use AI Suite 2, since i have ASUS motherboard, and they are running in silent mode for now, while in summers i boost them to performance or turbo for better cooling.
