PC case with or without front cover

Hello,
I want to buy a new pc case along with a new cpu cooler.

My question is if and how much a case with a front cover will choke the front intake fans.

For example, will the Aerocool Aero-1000 have any benefit compared to the Phanteks p400, at temperatures and airflow?

I saw a video review of the p400 where the gpu gained 10C only by removing the front cover and leaving the fans exposed.

I have a p400. If you're concerned get SP fans. I use ML series fans which are balanced between AF and SP while pulling through a radiator and my temps are great.

Even AF type fans (as long as there isn't a radiator they're seated on) work great too.

With the Aero 1000, you have mesh that allows for better air flow, however airflow will still be obstructed unless the drive cages are taken out.
In my opinion I would choose the Aero, if you take the drive cages out of the Aero it will have better over all air flow.
